We have 9 compressors with a total of 24300 cfm used in the plant around the clock for the manufacturing process. We have flow meters at the main headers in different sections, but it still does not give us a clear reading as to how much CDA is used for the production purpose.
Apart from installing flow sensors at each branch of the CDA piping is there any other cost effective method to find out the usage of CDA?
There is a BAS to monitor the whole system and we need these reading to make the plant more energy efficient by minimizing the wastage. .
I work on my truck and small engines lawn mowers etc in my spare time and I’ve always wanted to have some air tools to help me save time. I’ve been shopping around for a compressor that is portable but still has power to run some tools I’ll be using. I found this compressor online from harbor freight and some tools to use with it. Can anyone tell if I can trust this compressor to run the selected tools. According to the specs I should be able to run these tools with the selected compressor but I wanted to be sure since I am a newbie to air tools. I do not plan on running an impact wrench for more than 10 secs at a time, I just wanted it to help me break loose stubborn nuts and bolts.

I want to buy a air compressor to run a framing gun. I heard that it is a bad idea to get one of the pancake compressors, because it will have to work too hard to run the gun. Is this true? Does anyone have any ideas, what is the smallest size that will run the gun efficiently? Thanks for your help.
