This is my 1950 Westinghouse Air Brake Company air compressor I bought last winter. It has an 80 gallon tank, and from what I can tell has all the original components.
This video is a follow up to my posting on the web site lincolnsonline.com . The repair was I changed my air conditioning compressor, I initially thought I could just charge the system without vacuuming the lines. I did and because of air in the system it did not work well. I purchased a vacuum pump and charged the system as you will see in this video. According to information from lincolnsonline.com the system should hold 34 oz of 134a. That is how much I added however it appears to act like it may want more. Can someone out there double check the amount of 134a a 1995 Lincoln Town Car air conditioning system holds. Thank Tim at lincolnsonline for your help and giving me confidence to tackle this job.
