STEAM ENGINE TWO STROKE CONVERSION Weed Eater Steam Power

This illustrates the simplicity of converting any gasoline engine into a near perfectly machined Green Steam engine from scrap weed eaters or chain saws. Even old lawn mowers will work. I am considering an air powered tractor from a deep sea diving tank:-) Regulator to reduce 3200 psi to about 250.

@hurlrules1 your wright on the volts its at least 10,000 in this kind of coil.its high volts but low amps
Very cool. How much progress have you made on this?
What about piston, crank, conecting rod lubrication? How do you keep parts from failing from lack of oil that would normaly be present in the gas/oil mix the 2 stroke engine it was origionaly designed for? Very interesting, I always enjoy your vidios, Keep them up.
This is a little obscure, but the “mythical high efficiency engine” could only be a heat recapturing steam engine. If you do the thermodyamics, you can see it. Does anyone know why it is “obsolete”? i am pretty sure that if it were brought back most other engines would become obsolete.
I converted a 4 stroke Briggs and stratton to an air powered engine. I had a 2006 briggs which had plastic cams and a metal camshaft, and i used a bandsaw to change the cam lobes to 180 degrees. which allowed me to put air in through the spark plug hole and use the intake and exhaust as an exhaust. not near as efficient as yours but it has alot of power
Have you tried leaving the expansion chamber exhaust on there to get more power, or would the extra pressure cancel out some of the steam power??
“Opps”, oops
dan, i have watched every video of yours but i really like this one its the simplest one i have a car AC compressor lying around can i use it as an air/steam engine. thanks
This video is a godsend for me. I’ve been trying to find a green way to spin this wheel I have bolted to my kitchen table for months. Thanks science dude.
wat about lubrication
cool it should be put on a bycycle or back on the weedeater and a back pack air tank lol how do u keep it oiled please reply on the oiler i might make 1
u eco freak
if you wanna see some good older and newer movies go to weedmovies d0t info just add the d0t
Really this is very pointless i rather just use the a gas quicker and faster and last longer so wuts the point
Amazing. Best video on YouTube.

@fezants Photovoltaic cell to run the valve and reed switch.
Old satellite dish covered in foil or something shiny focused on a thin tube of water to make the steam (tube runs up to large tank with a one way valve to keep the water from backing up in the tube).
Centrifugal clutch attached to a generator to generate electricity or hook up to a water screw or conveyor for moving water. No need to watch it or fuel it once it’s set up.
What exactly are you using to gauge power? Just because it’s spinning fast doesn’t mean it has much torque. Power is a product of torque and speed.
Your best bet is to have a solid cylinder wall with no exhaust port and have an exhaust valve at the top that opens at BDC then a pressure valve to open a few degrees after TDC and play with timing for the pressure valve. The exaust valve should be open from BDC to TDC. Mechanical valves found in a 4 cylinder engine are the perfect effect
I’m not sure however that a 4 stroke engine’s intake valves can handle pressure on the intake side beyond 3 bar.
Also, how have you gauged the power output of the engine? In my experience, those engines with solenoid valves produce very little power. Power is a product of torque and speed, not just one or the other. It’s really a product of work and time.
looks fun, though its not quite practical. Air is 100% natural, but compressed air isnt because it takes electricity to compress it. Pretty much what BigRedBus said.
a ignition system on them can make up to 30000 volts so i would take it off if i was u cause u dont need it on there and you could use the magnets on the flywheel to run your switch
But is it strong enough to drive a motorcycle?
Very Interesting, i think i try to Copy that und Combine it with a solar powered Steam. thanks for this good idea

Is this engine strong enough to power a small bike or scooter?
very intresting video, cool.
thom in scotland.
