2000 Dodge Stratus 2.5L V6
After we had the dash all ripped apart to replace the leaky evaporator coil, found out that the expansion valve was leaky so replaced that too. Put all new o-rings on all the lines going to the compressor, receiver/drier & reconnected clips on expansion valve. After all was put together and tight, we put a vacuum on it and it held well after about 45 minutes so we recharged it with the 19 oz. of R134a that was specified. Started up my car and turned on the A/C and it was blowing cold air. But when I got out and started actually driving it it still blew hot air and still does to this day. Any ideas as to why? Guessing there’s still a leak somewhere, or maybe a faulty A/C compressor or I heard the receiver/drier should be replaced after being exposed to open air like that, could that be causing it? Thanks in advance, any ideas are appreciated.
The expansion valve outlet was bent & loose going to the A/C compressor.
Also me and a friend of mine did this all at a school I went to for Automotive, hooked it up to a Snap-On A/C machine.

I am very confused on what air compressor to buy. I am looking for something relatively portable, and I want it to be under 0. Here is what I want it to be used for:

It seems they all use variable speed compressors made by well-known companies. Tubing, evaporators, housings, and controls make up the rest of the units with controls being the most likely to be of different quality. So, who makes the best controls?

I restore cars and trucks for a hobbie. I have a large Ingersoll compressor with a Detroit 3-53 diesel I use to sandblast.
I primarily use 2 different blasters. One takes 300lbs of black slag and the other approx 150 lbs.
My problem has always been MOISTURE.
It drives me nuts and can really screw up a blasting job and take forever.
I do have water traps at each compressor, but nothing fancy.
I’m thinking of building some sort of air dryer/chiller or something. Does anyone have any good remedies or tips?
The compressor puts out a steady 120 PSI.

Model number is "102 A 130 B"
It appears to be about forty years old.
Has one-cylinder compressor.
Driven by external 3/4 HP motor by exposed belt.
I realize it’s an antique, but it’s kind of cool.

I have a 2004 Volvo 780 (commercial truck) with a 500 HP Cummins ISX motor. I don’t know if there are any diesel techs or air conditioning people here but maybe someone can help.
Anyhow, the air conditioning system freezes up CONSTANTLY. Humid or dry, cool or hot. It cools OK for a while and then we notice it’s not blowing air anymore, we shut off the fan or the compressor and it thaws out. I have changed the filter in the cab and sleeper twice to no avail. Have had the duct system cleaned out with some sort of acid that’s supposed to clean the grime and stuff off the coils, didn’t work either.
Just wondering if this may be something simple, perhaps worth trying a can of R-134, or do I need to go in for service? Any ideas appreciated

I have 1 1/2 ton split system air conditioner now, (outside unit has compressor), air handler is in the attic. If I change and put in two window units, in a 930 sq. ft. two bedroom Apartment, how much will my electric bill go up? Right now it is about 5 a month.
