what other usefulness is there in purchasing an air compressor?
I want one but that’s because I am going to work on building a 10×8 shed. What other usefulness is there. Some insights would be helpful. Let’s speak it in an average user perspective.

When winter arrives i always get some gardening company to come by to use some kind of air pressure system to flush out all the water in my sprinkler system (there are about 4-5 sprinklers per zone with 6 zones on my lawn)…i pay him each year…i am thinking there is a cheaper way to do this and was wondering what kind of contraption i needed and how much they usually cost to do my own flushing each winter. Does anyone have direct links to products that will do the flushing specifically for my underground (pop-up) sprinklers…

modified pan frame so that engine / transaxel and front beam don’t bottom out , Installed rear bags&fronts .cars all back together now till body work begins .Still need to buy valves/compressor/tank . 40 hp 3 cylinder diesel.
It’s so old that it instructs the operator to use 30 wt oil? Or are these things really better off using no-range-viscosity engine oil?
Adittionally, I noticed there’s a dip stick at the compressor end and it’s completely dry in the bottom of the reservoir. Is this to be expected after 6 years of sitting outside? What the Hal do I put in that chamber at the bottom of the compressor?

There is a small belt on the engine which doesn’t look cracked, but it feels loose. It’s about 1.5cm wide and 1 cm thick. Could this little thing be a timing belt for a diesel from back in the day (of the creation of the universe). I’ve never even owned a diesel vehicle to familiarize myself with diesel stuff…

It appears not to have any air filters on anything…That’s a scary thought…is that normal?

P.S. I’d much rather not take this thing apart. *cry, whimper*

Any other precautionary advice greatly appreciated! I’m overwhelmed with things at the moment and I could really use some help.
