I have a rather large air compressor, better than 20 gallons. Is this too big to use for airbrushing? It does have a regulator that can shut the compressor off when the storage tank reaches a certain PSI 40-130. Could I adapt this behemoth to airbrushing, or will I have to buy another one? It is an oil free model… I have a feeling that matters.

Lucky day for me!!! Me and my bro was going to Best Buy to look at some games and stuff then I saw the recycle box near the door so I dug in and found some cell phones and stuff also a Working Dell Laptop , after working on it I took my air compressor and blew alot of dust out but then after I found out that the wlan card was loose and fixed it. Specs are: AMD Dual Core 1.8Ghz, 1GB ram, and 120GB HDD Lucky ME!!!! What great stuff people recycle these days.

I just bought a Campbell Hausfeld "pancake" 1 gallon air compressor and it states to turn the regulator but there is no regulator. When I let it run to fill up, the PSI gauge doesn’t move. What am I doing wrong? How long does it normally take to fill up a new air compressor? Do I let it run with or without the hose attached? The manual for a new user is really short and not helpful.
